I am a lady gardener and looking after plants is a great passion of mine.
My name is Lisa and you'll find me pottering around our own garden with a cup of tea come rain or shine. Our garden is a sanctuary where we can relax, surrounded by plants and wildlife. It's also a great entertaining space for family and friends.
I am passionate about plants and am in the happy place of planting them and looking after them in local gardens. I take great care and pleasure in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for my clients to enjoy all year round.
I love getting stuck into a new garden project and there is always a new challenge and fresh ideas to explore. Sometimes it's an easy fix to enhance the work you have already put into your garden. More often, it happens over time, editing, moving and introducing new plants to revitalise your flower borders.
My approach is to create an interesting outdoor space with structure and colour throughout the year. The right plant in the right place is key. Your garden will then be an inviting space for you to spend time in every season and will also become a haven for wildlife.
My Path to Flourish with Flowers
I am very grateful that my professional journey has lead me to working outside with nature.
My degree in Biological Sciences initially set me on on a path of food research and development. Then, after a period of working overseas and extensive independent travel, I worked in the health food industry where I developed my knowledge of plants and the healing powers of herbs.
The last 10 years has been working in horticulure, plant buying and retail in a garden centre, propagating in a nursery and developing my own business offering a very personal gardening service.
For me, its all about bringing together the right plants in the right place and improving the soil to expand the diversity of native wildlife in our gardens.
